2015 Convention Materials
Diocesan Convention is the annual business meeting of the diocese, held every November. It is a gathering of elected deputies from all congregations along with canonically resident clergy. The bishop serves as ex-officio president of the convention. Elected deputies are required to be confirmed communicants in good standing of the congregation they represent and be at least 16 years of age. Each congregation is also entitled to a youth representative. Convention deputies elect diocesan leaders, confirm various diocesan appointments, vote on canonical changes, adopt a diocesan budget, adopt resolutions, and deal with other business brought before the Convention.
This year's Convention of the Diocese of Kentucky will take place November 13-14, 2015 at Calvary Church, Louisville.
